Major General Robert B. Ostenberg (U.S. Army Retired) Endorses Air Force Veteran Captain Greg Conlon for U S Senate
Maj. Gen. Ostenberg, a resident of Woodside, California, has known Greg Conlon for over 20 years and is familiar with Conlon’s honorable service in the US Air Force as a pilot in the MATS command, ferrying cargo overseas, including Nike missiles to Europe. Maj. Gen. Ostenberg is endorsing Greg because “he has the integrity, competence and character to serve as the next California U S Senator because of his experience in the private sector as a businessman and CPA and in the public sector as President of the California Public Utilities Commission and a Commissioner on the California Transportation Commission.”
Maj. Gen. Ostenberg added “I respect Conlon’s commitment and involvement with the San Francisco non-profit agency Self-Help for the Elderly, which serves over 20,000 Asian-American elderly members of San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda Counties.” Conlon served on the Board of the agency for over 10 years. In addition, Conlon served for five years on the Board of a sub-agency, Pine View Housing Agency, during the development of a low-income senior high-rise housing project in San Francisco which eventually housed more than 70 seniors.
Maj. Gen. Ostenberg encourages all voters – Republicans, Democrats and Independents – to vote for Greg Conlon, an experienced candidate who will work with all involved parties in helping solve both California’s and the Nation's economic and fiscal problems, encourage job growth with tax incentives and address the immigration issues facing the nation.
