Cover Your Risk

Make sure your insurance is adequate to cover your risk:

I want to make sure that all homeowners are aware about whether their home is insured to the extend it should be if their home is completely destroyed by insurable risk—fire, flood, and storms.  Many homeowners believe they are fully insured, when in fact they are not.  I will make sure that every homeowner knows what the Replacement Value of their home  when they renew their homeowners policy each year.  Then, if they are not insured to that level they can increase their coverage, or know they cannot afford it, and willingly understand the dollar amount of their being underinsured.  The homeowners are the decider of how much insurance they should have not the insurance companies.

It seems you have the heart of a teacher. We need insurance agents with the same heart. Your goals are high, but how are you going to make sure all homeowners are aware about whether their home is insured to the extent it should be? Insurance companies have no motivation to teach their clients such things.
